Solar Plexus no1

Working with colours and my hands gives a rest to my mind and brings me inner peace. I have found inspiration from shells and stones that I have found on beaches and seashores, mostly Jæren and Sanibel Island in Florida. I also find inspiration in the colours related to the energy fields called chakras (Indian tradition), red, orange, yellow, green, and blue/turquoise. Some of my paintings intend to illustrate the respective chakra and bring balance, at least that was the intention for myself in the process. I am still working on finding my own voice/expression, which is why the blue/turquoise is important to me.
