Description of the artwork

The old pavilion has been the stage of many marching bands and speeches. Many kids have played here.

Photograph with digital texture layers.

"Winter"
I hear your song, muted and soft,
the landscape a fantasy of sparkling frost.
Glittering in the winter sun,
an enchanting view for everyone.
The snow crunches as we walk hand in hand,
breathtaking white velvet, this fairyland.
The jays call in rhythm, gliding in the glow,
in concert with the snow-white lyric below.
A tranquil melody as we stroll along,
rapt in the serenity of snow and song.
Children toss snowballs, squealing in delight,
laughing and feigning exaggerated fright.
Memories to relive in the days ahead
bound in recall when winter has fled.
