Serpentin

Born in Stockholm 1972. With roots in an artistic family, I have been exploring art since the early 1990s. My creative journey began with classical studies in life drawing and oil painting, guided by teachers such as Katarina Ekstrand and Richard Griffith Carlsson, who contributed to my technical development. From 1997 to 2010, I occasionally apprenticed with Bertil Kumlien, which gave me a deep understanding of tradition and craftsmanship.

My artistic expression has evolved from figurative and graphic styles to a more abstract visual language. A fascination with the sea and the Swedish archipelago has inspired works created using sonar technology, where technological traces meet artistic interpretation. My work has been exhibited both nationally and internationally—from Brussels to Miami and Los Angeles—and in projects such as the Moving Art Project.
