Art Basel 2024

Art Basel is a meeting place for artists, art collectors and many celebrities from the art scene. The high-quality exhibitions showcase various art forms, with both works by modern masters and art by up-and-coming talents. Art Basel brings the art world to life – which is why it's so successful.

With its satellite fairs, Art Basel is now held four times a year on three continents: in Hong Kong in March, in its hometown of Basel in June, in Paris in October and in Miami Beach in December.

Every year in June, Art Basel opens its doors to art lovers from all over the world in Basel, Switzerland.

Whether you're a fan of white cube galleries, innovative curatorial projects or public art installations, make time in your calendar to visit this Swiss city.

The city invites its citizens and visitors to open their eyes to the world of digital art, thanks to the assistance of the ARTour app.

The interactive map shows the user where they can find artwork around the city, and when they are on site, the artwork can come to life. The artworks are digital objects in reality and can be viewed from all sides, and some artworks even invite the audience to interact. There are a total of ten digital works to discover by artists such as Andy Picci, Erika Marthins and Tabita Rezaire.

 Art Basel  was founded in 1970 by gallerists Ernst Beyeler, Trudl Bruckner and Balz Hilt, and is a fixture in the art world calendar.
